Amazon takeover destroyed this app. It used to be the best digital comic book reader, with lots of options, a great UI, and worked perfectly. Now... literally two options, forced white backgrounds to destroy your retinas, downloads get stuck, downloaded books randomly disappear and search is completely broken. The second I finish my already purchases comics I will be leaving forever.

What have you done to this beautiful app amazon? A year later and it still opens what I was reading last when I click on a new book I want to read. I have to reset the app and hope it works everytime I want to read something else. Not to mention still having to go on amazon.ca to buy anything. I miss the old app so much. Fun Update! My downloads aren't working well anymore. The app has to be open and not in the background for anything to keep downloading slowly. I can't even lock the screen.0/5

On the one hand, this is a good source of comics, and they have a solid selection. However, the app itself runs poorly, but also has some really weird design decisions that make it much harder to use than it needs to be. For starters, downloading is completely messed up. They fail, get deleted randomly, and go incredibly slow - even on a 500 gbps connection. On top of that, there's nowhere in app to see them - you can only look in the notification screen. The rest is similarly messy.
