Review from John Miller
Captcha You know, if you want to be more secure use 2FA and not some broken and very god damn annoying Captcha, that is NOT a security measure.
April 8, 2016Hi John. Can you please shoot us an email with some more details about what you're referring to? We'd love to get that investigated. firstname.lastname@example.org
As an Amazon subsidiary, you already know it's great. And for those who are Prime members, linking this to your account is super easy to do. Easy to operate. Guided view for reading is amazing, and if you don't like the default options it's all customizable. Love it. My main source of reading comics now-a-days simply because I don't have room for the physical copies anymore. Lol
I grew up loving comics but unfortunately living in Australia other than ordering each book online I don't really have an outlet for comics so this app is an absolute godsend. It's updated daily and allows me to share my account between devices so I'm able to enjoy on the go or on a larger screen on my tablet. Also the constant sales make comics affordable for anybody no matter your budget. The only suggestion I'd make is allowing the use of Google play credit other than that I'd give this app a perfect 5/7 any day
The app makes digital comics readable to even older fans like me. The guided mode assures you are reading panels and balloons in the correct order. My biggest pet peeve is the inability of the app to store the comics files on external storage. The comic files can be large, especially when downloading a graphic novel. This can quickly fill up a devices internal storage. With this ability it would be a five-star app.
This used to be a cool app... until Amazon bought them. It is now little more than a scam to get you to sign up for a "free" trial, then use your Amazon info to secretly bill you every month. Mom's and Dads especially need to beware; they are looking for your kids to click on Free Trial; they don't need a credit card because they snag that from Amazon. They will charge you FOREVER, and good luck cancelling. Comixology says you have to contact Amazon, but Amazon says it is not their bill. (Updated; I can now log on, though I never will again.)
FIRST OF ALL I STILL PREFER PHYSICAL COMICS. It would be nice if there was some way to buy these physically straight from the app but you know what I have no complaints. this is honestly an amazing job (plus the guided view makes it so easy to read the comics since I can't see without glasses) also they have manga on here. gotta love some good ole manga
This app is a great way to read comics. Although reading the comics alone is fairly easy to do, getting around the actual app is a little tricky, without much of a tutorial it's sort of a DIY thing for a while. Things that could be fixed are being able to find the redemption code bar, the amount of lists in your library, the difference between my books and library seems unless with the amount of lists in the library, and I think it would help if the comic was automatically downloaded when purchased, I don't think anyone would buy a digital comic and not download to read it.
