Review from Anthony Pifer
Back after 20 years I love this app.I jumped off of comics back in '92.got this app and am back in.the new 52 from DC is great jumping on point.marvel now is OK.new favorite series of 2012 for is Saga.highly recommend. UPDATE:Amazon needs to really get on the sd card support. I have bought a lot of comics on here but without sd card support it is pretty useless to me.Will rerate 5 stars when this is fixed.i have 30 gigs waiting for my collection. Thinking about going to Marvel Unlimited.
September 25, 2015I'll pass along your interest in SD card support, Anthony! Keep in mind that your library is cloud-based and you can freely delete and redownload as often as you'd like.
Unlimited service very limited The Unlimited service only gives you access to few early issues of a run. You have to still purchase individual later issues if you want to finish a story arch. Honestly it is not worth the monthly fee to just sample few issues of a series. I will be cancelling my subscription. Marvel Unlimited has done it right.
My daily comic consumption app but has problems Live the app,but it does build up phantom data over time. Deleted all my downloaded books and it was still consuming 300 mb of space which hurts on a 16 GB device. Would also like to be able to read without downloading like the web version. Would use the web version, except it is blocked from the reading feature on phones and tablets.
I don't buy comics here anymore It's very frustrating that you can't download comics from this app on to the SD card on my tablet device, I can store music, films and tv programs but not comics, why? As a result of this I can only store them on the limited space on my internal memory, which means that I no longer bother buying comics, it's pretty bad that I can physically hold more comIcs in my hand than i can on my tablet.
Indispensable, but needs external SD support Obviously, having a comic book store in your pocket is amazing. I love it. The guided reading is fantastic and a major selling point. Internal storage is limited on most devices to just a few GB, which comics will eat up fast. There needs to be some external SD support. It feels good to gripe.
No SD Card Storage Long time user, seen improvements over the years for certain. The fact I cannot move data to an SD card lowers my rating. Also app will crash if no Internet connection when accessing my books on device. PLEASE get SD Card FUNCTIONAL. I will give higher rating
Great - just wish I could download comics to SD card I'm a big fan of Comixology. My only significant complaint is that we still can't download comics to the microSD card rather than internal storage (which for me, is a fraction of the size of the SD card), causing my tablet to quickly run out of space.
