★Important Notice #1
If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure default backup folder is in your external SD card before doing it. If not, please copy the entire backup folder ("SmsContactsBackup" by default) to your external SD card

Since Android M 6.0, access bookmarks from 3rd party application is disabled, so Super Backup cannot backup and restore bookmarks.

★Important Notice #3
If you schedule automatic backups, and you use some apps such as Task Killer or Memory Clear, please make sure you had add Super Backup into their White List or Ignore list. Otherwise Super Backup can not run in background, and automatic backups will not work.

★Important Notice #4
When you finished the SMS restore process, but the messages were not displayed in your default SMS app, please try to reboot your device.

Location Permission
This permission is required to transfer backup files between devices by WiFi peer to peer.
Starting from Android 8, using the Wi-Fi peer-to-peer requires location permission. This is required by android system, we will never collect your location information.

Have now changed phones and also I have had to reset my phone a couple of times. The super backup work perfectly every time it added calendar contacts perfectly. I could also add any app I wanted to reinstall all is well. There some apps that you can't find on Play Store anymore so it's nice to have the old app that I can reinstall. it's also nice to have the old app in case a new update screws up. I can go back to the old version of the app.

This app worked the first day I had it then afterwards was a bust. Went from working 9 times out of 10 to 2 times out of 10 after resetting one of my phones. The reset shouldn't have changed anything because I reconnected the device to the WiFi it was on prior to the reset. When it works it works well, but it is extremely inconsistent which has wasted a lot of business time. The biggest issue is the phones never seem to recognize each other when initiating transfer. Another gripe is that the app backups tend to get stuck on the installing screen so it is difficult to tell whether or not they have installed successfully.

Great app. One less star b/c it's mostly worked for my backups just not once and that's fine. It showed backup of SMS and call log was successful; when resorting from those files, in that instance it did not work, said "no backup data found" or something along those lines, as if the files contained nothing or incomplete unusable data; please do look into that, maybe it's an issue with the app sometimes not competing the backup data process entirely or such. I still plan to continue using the app though.
