The most recent update is one of the worst ever, not just for this app, but for any I have ever used. First of all, you can no longer save links in the articles with a long press. Secondly, the scroll bar no longer shows in the app which is terrible for reading long articles. Speaking of long articles, thirdly the app no longer tracks reading progress so if you're reading a very long article you get sent back to the beginning of the article if you leave the app. Other issues with app. Terrible!

What happened to Article view? I have loved this app since way, way back in the day, when it was still called Read it Later. I have chronic headaches, and having the ability to just use the simple article view, with the black background, allowed me to read a lot more, without all the distractions and extra light. I saved everything to Pocket so I could read it that way. Now the article view option is just gone. If I wanted to read the articles on the web, I wouldn't need to use Pocket.

The recent Apr. 2023 update removed two nice features. (1) The app no longer shows the scroll bar. This was useful to see how long an article is. (2) Long-pressing on a link no longer shows you the URL (well, it does, but it's directly under your fingertip, so it's effectively not visible). Sad to see an otherwise great app getting worse.
