About this app

In today's connected world, Mobile ID offers a private, secure, contactless way to verify identity, either at home or on-the-go. Everything is on your phone – now your ID is too!

Intuitive, easy-to-use and highly convenient, Kentucky Mobile ID can be used anywhere it’s accepted, in any context a physical ID would be used – with enhanced privacy features. Only your Face ID, TouchID or six-digit pin will unlock the app and access your Mobile ID.

In five simple steps, you can create your Kentucky MiD:

1. Download the app and set permissions
2. Verify access to your phone number
3. Use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver license or ID card
4. Follow the steps to capture a selfie
5. Set up app security and you’re good to go!

Please note:
Kentucky Mobile ID is an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. As not all entities are able to verify Mobile ID, you should continue to carry your physical ID.

Apparently not compatible with OnePlus 13R phones. Resolution mismatches with the camera, no way to fix it. Currently useless. The problem: When trying to take a picture of my ID, the image is artificially distorted. Things I've tried: - clearing cache / data - setting camera settings to standard, 4:3 aspect ratio - granted permissions for everything, etc. - I even contacted support and they couldn't tell me what was wrong... I discovered the incompatibility through the web.

Utterly worthless. Once you find out how you have to take the pictures, it still will not validate the ID. Here's a radical idea - make the IDs digital-first and allow them to be used in Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

Straightforward, setting it up. Did have some issues with it stopping and restarting, but it did pick up where I left off. Not having so much success with my wife's older phone.
