An honestly engaging and beautiful story that far exceeded my expectations for a sequel. Not only does it have a well written and intriguing plot, it has fantastic characters to boot. The only fault that could be found would be to say that there is very little choice to be had, but I honestly prefer the context of this game in that way. Each character has a different way of looking at things and makes decisions according to their morals and beliefs instead of choosing on the whims of the reader. To summarize, this is a rather satisfying linear story with great characters, an interesting story, multiple perspectives (a very nice new addition, imo), and an ending that left me quite satisfied. I'd urge anyone who enjoyed the first game to try this one in a heartbeat, as it is a well built improvement on the original's formula. Enjoy!
I will never gey back tbe hours i wasted here. Why coulnt you get with Faye!? I cant stamd the character zuri
Seems I have the same feeling that everyone else had: not many choices and I wish I could make Natalie fall in love with other girls than Zuri but the story was still amazing and I will definitely read it another time! =]
I just started reading but so far, I feel like I will end up liking this one much more than the first one. The writing/storytelling is way more natural than the first one's in the sense that it's closer to how people speak in real life regardless of whether it's in a professional capacity or not. The writing also doesn't seem like it's as weird, cartoonish/caricature-like, or pretentious, in the way that many cartoon/anime-style interactive visual novels or CYOA apps are often guilty of as they try a bit too hard to appear clever or thoughtful and only end up looking overdone in the end. As a result of these improvements, the characters and story both look more grounded or realistic now and the dialogues more believable. That said, I've already encountered a typing error early on. Kylie and Kika's names have been switched out in the dialogues. But anyway, I'm really glad that we finally get to see the story play out a bit from other characters' POVs or perspectives. Also, this is obviously just a preference or subjective matter and it doesn't matter much but I really like the Kika and Faye characters for some reason, maybe even way more than the others, even the MC.
I loved this novel, almost as much as the first one. It was wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated but I wish there were choices to make the characters do things to affect the story line like in the first one.Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it.😊
I loved it! I really did, it's just... I want to see the continuation of the true ending. I want to be on the run with Zuri trying to figure out the mysteries of the universe. I hope to see more of fates really soon ^-^.
