The app works well. But I had postponed the latest update due to permissions issues. Why does Hydro or iFactor Consulting need to know my phone number, if I am in a call and to whom I am calling? I did manage to disable that capability, in app permissions, but there is also a strange dependency to other permissions that make it difficult, for no reason that I can see. I would give this app 4 stars, if they removed the need to collect my private data. That said, with the invasion of privacy disabled, I have installed it and I do use it from time to time.
Does not work. I upgraded to Nougat and the map no longer loads on my Nexus 6p. Fix it please. The app was already lousy at reporting outages in the first place, now it doesn't work at all.
The app has been great but once I upgraded to Nougat it no longer works! grrr It just sits there forever waiting to do something. It occasionally says loading then I get a blank map. I am currently in a power outage so it would be nice to get updates on my mobile instead of having to use the PC. It needs to be updated for Nougat. Currently it is useless for the users that are on the most current version of Android!
Really missed the boat with this app. The map no longer works on the Nexus 6P running Nougat. The app was unable to inform you of local power outages. It would have been great to include account information or view real time usage information....Or you know...Actually report outages. I would expect better from Hydro one given how much we pay for Hydro
The outage map is either really slow or doesn't work at all... And it is not a network issue... Would also love to be able to report an outage via the app, but guess it would have to work right first...
Outage map inaccurate Had wide spread outage other day and the map didn't even show it , thousands without power . Didn't work when you need it the most .
