*Bug found* On the Nexus 5X, the DO Camera app flips images horizontally when taken with the outward facing camera before uploading. Not sure why the app does this, however right now it is useless for me. Good app idea overall, however I find that there are a few features that are missing. There should be a feature to launch the a specific DO camera function through a widget. Would generally allow for a more streamlined usage (I generally use this app for a very specific optimization).
it compromises your phone’s ability to focus Don't expect a screenshot of text to be legible. my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 simply could not focus, making that use case, well, useLESS. though I think it tried. nothing wrong with my phone. the Do Camera app integration is what's causing the GN4 to struggle. I might try again with the GN5.
Wanted it for snapping bills/receipts up into Evernote and possibly OCR, but for some reason the camera will only deliver a blurry, almost doubled, image - completely unreadable. It's not the device or the camera, because the regular camera function on my phone (an LG G4) can deliver a nice crisp image of the same document. Looking forward to bumping up my rating once whatever bug is causing that is fixed! I love the idea, really disappointed that I couldn't make it work.
Great At first I didn't know what was the app purpose, but after a few minutes I saw the light and started taking pictures of almost everything. Highly recommended.
Great concept but... Do camera makes my pictures blurry while my regular camera does not. Whats the point of saving business cards or receipts that cant be read?
Perfect, but a bug I love this service, but when I am trying to select a picture, none is shown and when I want to share a picture into the app via intent the app always crushes.
