Really powerful, useful app. Ideal for making those tiresome tasks- not quite so tiresome. This application is ideal for the power user however is also good for a novice. You don't need to be really tech savvy to get full use of this app. It's so straightforward and easy to use, it makes it effortless to increase your productivity by at least 100%. It's a light crisp application thats versatile and efficient. Certainly worth downloading! The only minor issue that it occasionally crashes on my device and doesn't always run the applets straight away. No matter what, the benefits certainly overrule.
Makes automation easy Still getting used to the new UI. Doesn't feel as fluid as previous version. It STILL would be nice to see have 2 or more ifs to trigger 1 that.. I see after an update, 1 if can trigger multiple thats... Overall IFTTT is a really great service.
Good, but could be better I really like the idea of this app. They have a nice UI with easy to use features, but when I go to customise my applets, the ingredients don't show up (-1 Star), and the service is a little slow (-1 Star). For those two reasons I have it 3 Stars. I will be updating this review if one (or both) problems get fixed! :)
Works great as long as I don't rely on location based recipes This program is very versatile, able to do many very useful things. The only thing it is having a problem with lately (coinciding with the version 3 update) are location triggers. Looking forward to bug fixes and future updates.
Really cool, wish I had known this existed earlier This app is cool. I can automate EVERYTHING with no programming or IOT hacker skills needed. One problem is that for some reason the location triggers haven't been working and I can't figure out why. My device is a Pixel XL.
I am not a fan of the new UI Maybe I'm just dumb but I found the old interface to be much more intuitive. I have several "applets", that carried over from the old version as backups to smartthings and they were a breeze to setup. I was looking last night at adding Google Home and was royally confused. I gave up. I have the previous version of IFTTT backed up. I think I might reinstall it and see it if still works. Hopefully, IFTTT will fix this mess of a UI.
