Great when it works I love the idea of the app. Being able to turn things on and off based on my location is a good idea, but the location reporting is so inconsistent on the two devices I use this app on that I can't really trust that the applets will actually fire. I have some location based apps that still have yet to fire a week after installing this. Contacted support through their website the first day I was having issues and have yet to get a response at all. Overall a very cool idea and fantastic when it does work.
It's really great, except one thing In general I reeeeaally enjoy using IFTTT. But what if I want to receive certain notification (to drink water or to check mail) once in 2-3 hours? It's only possible to make an applet for 1 hour periods or longer. That's the only not cool thing about the app, everything else about it is perfectly fine
Better to use Wi-Fi connection triggers than Android location as low power cell triangulation is spotty. Pretty good otherwise but needs a way for an applet to trigger another inactive applet. That way you can cascade an "and" function. Example: if 8am then heaterapplet. If colder than 55 then heater on
Used ages ago and didn't get expected results, so finally gave up incorporating it into my life. Thought I'd try it again, and I WANT TO LOVE IT, and I feel it would greatly benefit my day-to-day life, but still, I don't get the results I think I will. I understand programming, so feel I have a good handle on it, but the results aren't there. I can see the applet ran, but that's the only place I see the info... It's a GREAT IDEA, but the reality is less than stellar.
Ok in concept It's a neat idea for an application and COULD be very useful. If it wasn't so limited. The number of Ifs and Thens available is quite limited. For example, no option to turn on or off Location, Wifi Hotspot, Flashlight, Airplane mode. That's really basic stuff I expected.
Please support UK based mobile numbers This app is brilliant. It manages to integrate seamlessly with a wide variety of devices, making your life easier. However, it's a real shame that you don't support UK mobile numbers for tasks such as asking Amazon's Alexa to find your phone.
