Great idea. BUT It just dosnt reliably work. You can set up amazing stuff but you can't rely on it.. for e.g. I set up turn wifi off and volume up when leaving home using gps. and sometimes it runs sometimes it runs much later but most of the time not at all... you can't really track car journeys etc as its just too fkaky.. shame really.
Good, and will get better. Lots of integration into many services. I was using the gps location and found it unreliable at times, but assume this is an Android implementation rather than an iffft version of gps. Eventually got sick of it and just used a wifi rule to do what I needed to do (if drop off wifi then do some stuff with arlo and Piper cameras). Better than the Microsoft tool by a country mile.
This is utterly unreliable. As test I installed IFTTT and setup a thing in it from its library that when ever I enter my work location it writes a record in a specific calendar in google calendar. guess what, it wirked for the first 3 days and then ... nothing. since then it got updated once but still it is not functional. everything in the app looks ok and running but because there is no good logging system I can't tell why on earth it does not work. so its a good toy for the first 3 days and then its just taking some space on your phone. I've tried few others and they are way more robust.
Awesome idea, but it has a lot of issues actually working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. It's supposed to turn on my wifi when I'm in a certain area but it only does so sometimes. Which has lead to me using data because I depended on this working.
It's great when it works, but it just doesn't work consistently enough, and if I have to check every time if it has worked, I might as well do the activity myself.
Useless, I made 4 automations only 1 worked (turning on bluetooth at specific time) the ones of turning the Bluetooth off and the Wi-Fi on or off depending the location didn't work. The app has a visually appealing interface but it's really bad, you can't edit the automations, or you can edit very limited parameters (and having to make a lot of steps to get there). *Uninstall*
