For transparency, we'll explain why we request the following permissions.

• Internet: All images are fetched from our website. To do this Wonderwall requires an internet connection.
• Access network state: Autoset offers a feature to only download images if connected to a Wi-Fi network.
• Set wallpaper: Duh!
• Write external storage: Wonderwall caches wallpapers so it doesn't have to fetch the same image over and over again.
• Receive boot completed: When enabled, Autoset will restart itself on reboot.
• Wake lock: This permission is required for supporting Muzei live wallpaper.
• In-App Purchases: Support development by donating.

Ratings and reviews

At its prime, Wonderwall has various wonderful scenic photographs that fit pretty well for phones, although their sizes may not be suitable for sliding animations. It also comes with a nice option to automatically change the wallpaper from time to time. However, the wallpaper collection has no longer been updated for years, and eventually, the server has shut down for good without notice. It's unfortunate that Wonderwall had one unceremonious farewell, or rather, abandoned.

So far so good...I think this is a pretty novel idea for your phone's wallpaper set-up and I really applaud the developers giving notary to the photographers rather than just repackaging the images as "their own" so to speak. N.B.* I've seen a number of reviews citing issues with the auto set option; I tried it and it worked fine for me but I disabled it anyway because I prefer choosing images myself.

This was all I ever needed... until the images started resizing. It now zooms in on the image and it does it to every wallpaper I change it to. My device is a Huawei and I've tried every possible setting to correct it to no avail. I'd really love to keep this app but there's no sense in doing so if it just gives you the zoomed in blurry portion of a picture :/
