Sadly, this app is kinda junky. Was hoping to find a replacement for VNC Viewer, and it looks like this one is good from a privacy perspective. However, the functionality just isn't there. Triple monitor setup, connected easily enough, but the three screens were tiny and zooming was super janky. Trying to use the mouse was basically impossible. Changing input methods technically allowed it to start working, but the controls were so horrible, I just had to uninstall. Yuck.

Hey Nick, that's unfortunate to hear! If you do change your mind, this is an actively-developed project that responds to user suggestions, and if you open feature-requests on https://github.com/iiordanov/remote-desktop-clients/issues we can make the app better for you and everybody else.

Got this to use with my Computer via PiKVM and works well for the most part. Though there 2 issues. 1. Mouse movement is fairly erratic when moving very slowly. This makes fine control nearly impossible. 2. MAJOR problem when first connecting. The phones clipboard is pasted into the remote machine as if being typed out by the keyboard. Executes shortcuts, types in chats, etc.. Thanks for quick reply, will report this using the link you provided. Thanks!

Update: Thanks Marc! Previous reply: The 1st issue is because the software is trying to correct for erratic input from the Android subsystem, avoiding rapid mouse jumps. UPDATE For the second issue, please see: https://github.com/pikvm/pikvm/issues/926

You only need to grant this permission if you are importing settings. If you DO need to import settings, and you are past the permissions request (i.e. you denied it), you can go to Android Settings -> Apps -> bVNC -> Permissions and grant the permission there. You'll be able to import settings after. BTW, why give 2 stars to ask a question?
