Night mode is a joke :) I download over 30 browser to test night mode. I use an AMOLED device which uses less battery with displaying dark pixel. Unfortunately this browser doesn't even try to change the page to dark colours. It only changes the browser interface.
So far, so good. Still messing around with the browser, but after only twenty minutes I may have my new "daily driver" for the information superhighway.
1. Open tabs are not kept on close sometimes. 2. Background color MUST be white because some websites do not specify it; black background makes those websites unreadable. 3. mailto: links are parsed incorrectly. When you click one, you should open a mail client chooser instead of app choser.
The only browser I can use I have a first generation Nexus 7 with Android 5.1.1 installed. There are a lot of issues with this set-up, particularly when it comes to a mobile browser. The others I've used (Chrome, Firefox, UC, Dolphin) either freeze frequently or use too many resources. Mercury has been dependable when it comes to rendering even those "intensive" Web sites and actually does so relatively quickly. The only downside is the fact that it takes a long time to open initially - - at least on my set up.
Bookmarks sync not working ... I've been looking for a browser that syncs chrome bookmarks from my desktop other than chrome itself for a while now. Downloaded this but it didnt work even though I signed up with my google account. What's wrong? Even when i go to bookmarks and click sync nothing happens.
My browser of choice As to my taste, - the most intuitive, smart and feature rich browser for Android and iOS. Particularly well performing Reader mode, with convenient sharing options. Great Job!
- Minor bugs fixes.
