Too many scary permissions for features that easily could be optional. Like microphone for the music experience that I cannot use anyway since I don't use the two supported providers. The user interface feels somewhat clunky, especially if the bulbs are slow to react.
I have had ten of these bulbs for the better part of two years and I cannot remember a consistent interval of time when I could use them with any confidence. Every time the company updates the software, I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football again. If this isn't fixed by the end of the weekend these bulbs are going on eBay.
Schedules don't work properly especially when it comes to turning off the bulb. The bulb shuts off for 2 seconds then turns right back on. This app needs updates to fix this problem as well as many others. I was a big supporter of ilumi, however I will be purchasing another manufacturer going forward.
New app, new problems. ilumi your still in beta with this. Very disappointed. Purchased 8 bulbs a year ago and looking to replace with different technology, different manufacturer.
App still has connection issues also would love to have sub groups for multiple bulbs in on lamp or fixture but i the same room or area
Isn't Mark Cuban part of this? I feel conned at this point. Think we need to get together as fellow ripoffee's and do something. Had it working, they keep changing, so even when I get it fixed, they will update and break it again. Am wishing I could sell my bulbs at this point, wasted money. Have given this good reviews before, am tired of the controllers being a moving target. They update and everything I've done to make things work is gone and back to 8 random bulbs again. Am so angry right now, this is WITH the personal service, too..... Am mad at BestBuy for selling this stuff, frankly.
