OK so this time around. I am really impressed they must have upgraded the server system, as these keep an eye on you like your Snowden. They respond much better I have had no issues for the first time in owning these but. Of course there is a but.... I've requested a simple countdown timer!!!!!!!!!!! No scheduling blah blah blah. Just hit 20 mins and it shuts off any connected bulb. This should be a easy simple and I would think WANTED addition to the AMAZING HARDWARE! Early adopter just wait for ilumi to actually listen to their loyal customer base!!!
App doesn't let me delete a schedule and when I try to modify it reverts back, so my Easter colors keep going to my St. Patrick's Day colors. The app is slow to respond. When I tell the app to do something, I expect the lights to follow.
The app has gotten better and scheduling actually seems to be working for the time being. But, I keep having an issue where I simply try to turn the light on, or off, and the app changes the icon like it acts like it did what it was supposed to but the bulb doesn't do anything. Sometimes I have to try 6 or 8 times just to turn the damn thing on or off!!
App no longer has a scheduler, limited functions. Horrible app design. The bulbs and app don't do half the things the ad promised when I bought the bulb. False advertising and no way to get my money back, don't buy this garbage bulb.
Can't actually control my lights now since the app won't let me log in, and a password reset doesn't do anything. Why would it even ask for my password once the initial configuration happens? Update: this app is still horrible! Features that kinda worked in the old version like the sunrise are worse now in the new app. If I could find some sucker to buy my bulbs, I would depart instantly!
3/20/17: now sometimes gives error message when it fails. Stills fails though. Totally useless. I have to use old school power socket timers to get bulbs to cycle on/off on schedule. It's really quite impressively bad. Ilumi: I already have reached out multiple times. You can't help. Reviewing you negatively took 6 months because i wanted to be fair. Bad on permissions, also very buggy. Can't control the bulbs 90% of attempts. I take that back. Even via schedule I'm never sure what the bulb will do. And since I seldom have control over them via my phone they're just a ridiculously expensive dumb LED. I held back 6 months before reviewing but wow what a terrible product.
