The IMB Bank App provides a smarter, simpler, more secure way to do your online banking. Future-facing and feature-packed, it comes with biometric ID, secure in-app messaging, easy payment manager, pay bills with BPAY®, real-time payments in-app, multi-sign transaction security, instant service updates, loan redraws from your phone*, card management, alert management, personal details updates and eStatements.

Message us within the app
We’ll respond without you needing to stay logged in. With push notifications enabled in the app, you’ll be notified when we respond.

Set up and authorise payments in-app, including two-to-sign transactions. Payment requests flash up on your payment home screen, so you never miss an alert. You’re in charge.

To register your device for the IMB Bank Mobile Banking App, you’ll need to be registered for Internet Banking and SMS 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).

IMB Bank Members not registered for Internet Banking and SMS 2FA should visit imb.com.au or call us on 1300 123 164. First time Internet Banking users will need to log on to Internet Banking at least once before using the app.

When first registering for the Mobile Banking App, you will be asked to provide your usual Internet Banking login details. You will then be sent a one-time security code to your registered mobile number via SMS. You will need to enter this code to set up your secure 4-digit App PIN. Once your 4-digit App PIN is set up, this is all you will need to log in to the Mobile Banking App. Your App PIN can be changed at any time from within the Mobile Banking App.

I've only been using this App since November 2022, and I must say it is the worst banking App I have ever used. At least once a week I've had to uninstall/reinstall because it continuously crashes. Judging by other reviews, this problem is being experienced by many for some time now. Although the app itself (when accessible) is user friendly and includes all the relevant features, these qualities are pointless when the customer is unable to access it.

Thanks for this update! Its a great step in the direction of other banking apps, and is really nice looking! One issue im having, is that on the home screen, I can only see the thumbnail for one of my two accounts, and it's faded out as though inaccessible. If i tap the empty space below it, i can access my second account - I guess the button just isnt visible 😄 I'm using a samsung galaxy 8, if it helps! Thanks!

Hi, Amy. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I'm glad you like the look. We worked hard to try and make it nice to use. We're really keen to fix the issue with the home screen and the thumbnail for one of two accounts. Would it be OK to send through a print screen to onlineservices@imb.com.au ? DL. IMB.

When this app works, it is great. But I have had to unistall/re-install at least 8 times in the last 2 months. The most recent time, it just won't let me set up the app (for the 9th time) because of an apparently "untrusted connection" which requires calling them. This being the same connection ive been using while the app works. Not once since the smart phone inception have i ever had to call anyone to make an app to work properly.
