The IMB Bank App provides a smarter, simpler, more secure way to do your online banking. Future-facing and feature-packed, it comes with biometric ID, secure in-app messaging, easy payment manager, pay bills with BPAY®, real-time payments in-app, multi-sign transaction security, instant service updates, loan redraws from your phone*, card management, alert management, personal details updates and eStatements.

Message us within the app
We’ll respond without you needing to stay logged in. With push notifications enabled in the app, you’ll be notified when we respond.

Set up and authorise payments in-app, including two-to-sign transactions. Payment requests flash up on your payment home screen, so you never miss an alert. You’re in charge.

To register your device for the IMB Bank Mobile Banking App, you’ll need to be registered for Internet Banking and SMS 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).

IMB Bank Members not registered for Internet Banking and SMS 2FA should visit imb.com.au or call us on 1300 123 164. First time Internet Banking users will need to log on to Internet Banking at least once before using the app.

When first registering for the Mobile Banking App, you will be asked to provide your usual Internet Banking login details. You will then be sent a one-time security code to your registered mobile number via SMS. You will need to enter this code to set up your secure 4-digit App PIN. Once your 4-digit App PIN is set up, this is all you will need to log in to the Mobile Banking App. Your App PIN can be changed at any time from within the Mobile Banking App.

definitely not the best app. has a werid glitch when scrolling through a bank account it'll just randomly glitch you back to the top of your account. super frustrating of you're trying to comb through transaction information.

Each update has made this app progressively worse. Updates without me giving permission, then needs me to set app up again. Often crashes, requiring clearing the cache to get it going again, which means setting it up again. Seeing as I don't keep my member number on me at all times. If it crashes when I'm out, no access until I get home, defeating the whole purpose of having the app on my phone. 👎👎👎 *So your update to "fix" the app won't even let me into it now. Worst Banking App Ever!

Hi Kathy. We have a new release of the app coming this week which should resolve the issue. We're very sorry it keeps requiring you to uninstall and reinstall - you shouldn't have to do that. I'll reach out here when the new version is available for an update. DL. IMB Bank.

The new update just won't let me sign it, the first few times I thought it was strange so I entered my pin and left my phone unlocked while I went to do a chore which took about 8 minutes and it was still loading on the page where you enter you pin. I am on high speed internet and when I tried to enter an incorrect pin it told me immediately that it was incorrect so I'm not sure why the correct pin just gets stuck loading. Bad experience from the get go with the updated app.

Hi Jacqui. We have just released a fix for the issue you were experiencing - it may take several hours to be available to you in the store - you may be able to search for the app and click update. I'm so sorry you were affected by the initial release of our new app. We're very proud of the new app and hope the fix allows you to enjoy it. DL. IMB.
