Loved it...until the ads started. The ads are far too obtrusive and irritating. Switched to a third party app (Open Imgur), since they at least won't shove ads down my throat. No thanks.
Where'd the ads come from? Give us an option to get rid of ads. I understand the need to monetize. However, never make it an inconvenience. When I scroll and go to click as a mobile user suddenly I have clicked an ad that hadn't loaded yet. That is a extreme no no. Imgur you're better than that.
Adds becoming intrusive I'm happy to see you are making plans to keep imgur around for as long as you can. And adds are a great way, but right now there is so many fishing and spamming adds that can cache themselves and really plague your phone until you factory reset. I don't think it's the right time to introduce adds until smart phones get better antivirus. For this reason I must regretfully leave imgur until such security is available
The app works but No longer ad free The app works and was one of my favorite apps to have one my phone. Now I am one of the unlucky few that get to test the ads on the Android app. It's awful and very off putting. I will go back to using the app once I get the option to pay for an ad free experience. I understand you need to generate revenue however you use to offer up paid subscriptions for that. Thanks for the run.
cool but... i hate how it keeps refreshing on it's own after i back out of a post. Also reporting bots does nothing.
Ads Remove the always there ads you never had before that are very intrusive or I'm done
