Mark your favorite paintings in the gallery. Use the filter symbol within the titelbar to filter paintings either by favorites, by same artist or by same decade.
From the gallery you can also set a painting as the wallpaper for your phone/tablet.
Do not expect perfect high-resolution replica of the artworks.
All images are sourced from the media library Wikimedia Commons.
To load the image files a fast internet connection is needed. You can reduce data traffic by deactivating high image resolution within the settings menu.

- INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE : used for getting data from wikipedia and the ads
- SET_WALLPAPER : used to set a painting as wallpaper from gallery

All the three versions have 14 stations but the stations differ in subject and order. There may be other versions in different parts of the world using different set of prayers and reflections but these versions in the app are the three main versions.
The Traditional Way of the Cross starts with Christ Condemned to Death and ends with Jesus Laid in the Tomb.
The Scriptural Way of the Cross (which was introduced by Pope John Paul II) starts with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and ends with Jesus Laid in the Tomb.
The New Way of the Cross (the alternate version of the Scriptural Way of the Cross) starts with The Last Supper and ends with The Resurrection.
