Mission Vulcain is a decision support application for fire professionals.

The application has a digital map on which it is possible to enter the coordinates of the fire. This gives firefighters a clear and precise overview. With the control of the coordinates, the professionals responsible for the security of the populations can quickly establish the surrounding perimeter to be secured or determine the sensitive areas to be defended as a priority.

By geolocating the start of the fire, by setting the force and direction of the wind, the application calculates the axis of propagation of the fire over a period of 15, 30 and 60 minutes after its start.
