If you are not an existing subscriber, you can easily sign up through the app marketplace.

· Payment will be charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
· Subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
· The account will now be charged $14.99 for monthly renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
· You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal after purchase in the App settings. Select "My Subscription" then "Manage my Subscription" and you will be able to make changes.

Ratings and reviews

I love the actual Calgary Herald and when it doesn't or cannot be delivered to my door. I'll accept the digital version. I still prefer to keep one or at least a few of my fellow Canadians employed. I still buy the print version when I'm around as I believe everyone from the press room to the paper mill should be able to keep there job. I just wish with the 2 different papers, Sun and Herald that they'd have alil autonomy between them both.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. I've used it for years and it was fine. I knew that as a free user, I wasn't seeing all the articles or seeing them early, but it was OK. I even considered paying to upgrade but never got around to it. Now, since they want to force you to pay to see ANYTHING, I'm deleting the app and getting my news elsewhere! Calgary Herald, you messed up BAD!!!

Very slow at getting big news updates. Often 30min to hours behind other news sources. Articles are also not updated frequently on the app and generally carries the same news stories for weeks at a time. Update Sept 5/23: degraded to 1 star. App has been non functional for days now. When you click on a story it's just black with no text.
