A Prayer book for even a pentecostal like me! I used to be wary of using prayer books, but now I am sold! We all are one in Christ after all. Praise the Lord for that!
It's a little better than the previous Mission St. Claire ("Daily Office") app by Rev Richardson. It certainly looks less terrible. They've added Noonday and Compline, which is nice. However, the English and Spanish are intermixed, which is disorienting. I'd think that you could separate them by columns and things would make a lot of sense. Yesterday/Tomorrow buttons are bigger, which means they can now be used by people whose fingers are larger than pencil tips; that's a plus. The text wrapping is still a little over-conservative. Switching between portrait and landscape still re-freshes the entire page instead of just reflowing, which resets your position in the page to the top. Definitely an app to disable auto-rotate for. ---- Content is (usually) great, although sometimes someone is over zealous with the you->thou auto-replace in the Psalms and we read about "thoung lions". ---- I just noticed the screenshots. I guess they're for the tablet? They look much better than what you get on the phone.
A blessing. An even more convenient way to enjoy the wonderful Mission St Clare website's content.
App when scrolling goes jerking motion. Some prayers could be paired down.
Great Much better. But it looks much, much better on my tablet. Cleaner and easier to read.
Would be better with a lighter and quieter background text is hard to read in some places on on the scrolling screen.
