Tamalou is a free group messaging and communication app for relatives of a frail person, featuring tools tailored to the challenges faced by family caregivers.

Tamalou helps caregivers reduce and better distribute the mental and material burden by enabling them to:
- Easily stay informed about the care receiver’s news, medical appointments, general condition, and coordinate actions based on each person’s abilities and availability.
- Speak with one voice: interact on behalf of the care receiver with their administrative and medical environment in a simple, reliable, and traceable way.
- Organize information for easy retrieval.

Each group includes 5 features:

Conversation:
Allows relatives to exchange easily in a way that adapts to their level of proximity with the frail person.

Care Receiver’s Email Inbox:
Enables relatives to efficiently distribute and manage interactions with external parties (social security, support services, medical staff, and everyday services like energy, telephony, delivery tracking, etc.).

Media Library:
Centralizes and provides quick access to all shared documents.

Shared Calendar:
Helps relatives organize and distribute responsibilities for tasks and events.

Expense Tracking:
Allows relatives to record and fairly distribute expenses, clarifying each person’s financial contribution.

Each group has 3 roles, with different permissions based on the level of proximity to the care receiver:

Administrators can:
- Add/remove relatives from the group
- View all conversation messages
- Access all shared documents
- Access tasks and events in the calendar that concern them
- Access the care receiver’s email inbox
- Access expense tracking
- Add/remove auxiliaries from the group

Relatives can:
- View all conversation messages
- Access all shared documents
- Access tasks and events in the calendar that concern them
- Access the care receiver’s email inbox
- Access expense tracking
- Add/remove auxiliaries from the group

Auxiliaries can only:
- View conversation messages in which they are mentioned
- Access documents they have shared or that have been shared with them
- Access tasks and events in the calendar that concern them
