6/28/17 - app not truly mobile until reconcile buttons added. I still need to log into a computer to reconcile my account. Very simple feature to add. Been waiting for 2 years. 4/2/17 - still no reconcile functionality? Down to 2 stars. This is simple functionality to add so that the BofA app is truly mobile. Still pulling out a laptop to reconcile account. 2/24/17 - Still no reconcile buttons? Need to pull out computer to manage account. 12/5/16 - Still no reconcile buttons on new update?Please add the reconcile buttons to the mobile app and get 5 stars. 8/11/15 - several updates later still no reconcile buttons. Very simple enhancement that makes the app truly mobile. Without reconcile buttons still need a PC to do banking. BofA not fully mobile yet.
Great banking app, however... This could be user stupidity, but i can't seem to figure out how to set up my credit card for auto pay from my checking and when I asked a teller at the branch she told me i had to set it up through the app. Well, she coukdn't seem to figure it out either. I've settled for doing it manually, but, although I've turned on the notification, I've been late by a day twice because the notification didn't happen. This is my responsibility and my fault, not the app, but it is a bit of a hassle. Other than that it's a great app. Quick, well organized and very helpful
Been using this app for years. Finally have the energy to tell everybody that this is a must have for any BofA clients who use billpay or just want to check balances. I've been using the deposit check feature more this year and I cannot even remember the last time I went to the atm to physically deposit a check. I just don't have to do it anymore. It's very easy and I've had no problems in the 20-plus years that I've been banking electronically.
The bill pay is atrocious. There is no option to pay current balance. This makes it difficult to pay the bill off and feels a lot like the app is designed to trick you into carrying a balance. The rewards need to be activated and that is incredibly stupid. The only reason I use this card is for the high reward numbers, and as soon as I reach my limit I will be using my other cards, purely to avoid logging in to this app.
Mostly a nice app. Pretty easy to use. One problem is trying to transfer money. Comes up blank on the "from account" screen. May take several tries to get the accounts to show up. Second problem now: shows I have 1 new cash back deal but I scroll up and down and there is none. Usually always shows 44 deals but this time there is an empty spot; only shows 43.
Love being able to deposit checks with this app. Only bad thing so far is that sometimes everything goes through and you think it deposited until days later you get a letter in the mail indicating one of the images bad and the deposit failed. That kind upset me. It's happened a few times. Beware!
