About this app

Our digital, interactive app and map is used to plan and communicate the cleaning efforts.
The beach cleaning map facilitates cleaning efforts for our municipal cleaning teams, contractors and all volunteers on beaches and coves.
Hands on beaches make a difference.
If you have cleaned a beach and removed the debris, you can choose the category "Stattened and clear". Fill in the form and submit. Well done! Don't forget to attach pre- and post-images.
Have you cleaned a beach, but do not have the opportunity to transport the bags themselves, choose "Pickup needs". Fill in the form and especially "Describe with text where the garbage is placed" - this in order to be able to locate it. Attach a picture where the garbage is located! The municipality or Västkuststiftelsen will collect the garbage as soon as they have the time and opportunity.
If you see a litter or a beach, choose "Cleaning needs", fill in a short description and attach pictures.
If you are planning a cleaning day and want to invite more volunteers to participate, choose "Planned cleaning", fill in the date and information about the planned cleaning to invite others to participate.
Along the Bohus coast there are six so-called OSPAR beaches. These are reference beaches and should NOT be cleaned by the public. Read on www.ospar.org.
