Dayfill is a habit tracker built around one idea: checking off a habit should take one tap, without opening an app.
Put the widget on your home screen and tap a habit to fill today's square. Every square you fill shows up in a monthly and yearly grid, so a glance tells you how the month is going.
WHAT YOU GET
• Home screen widget — check off today's habits without opening the app
• Monthly and yearly grid of everything you have filled in
• A reminder time per habit, not one alarm for the whole app
• Drag to reorder your habits in the order you actually do them
• Streak count and completion rate for each habit
• Repeat on the days you choose: every day, weekdays, or any set of days
• An icon and a note per habit
• Light and dark theme, and a week that starts on Monday or Sunday
NO ACCOUNT, NO SUBSCRIPTION
There is no sign-up and no server. Everything you track stays on your phone. Every feature is free, today and later — there is no premium tier waiting to lock the habit tracker you already set up.
BUILT TO BE SMALL
Most habit tracker apps ask for a routine, a plan and a profile before you record anything. Dayfill asks for a name. Type it, and it is on today's list. One square a day is the whole method: you fill in what you did, and the grid does the rest.
The app asks for the notification permission only if you want reminders, and it works exactly the same if you decline. It never asks to draw over other apps, read your contacts, or see your location.
WHO IT IS FOR
• People who keep forgetting to open the habit app they installed
• People who care about the process more than a target date
• People who want the record on the home screen, where they will actually see it
Dayfill shows ads to stay free. Checking off a habit never shows one.
