Lost a note after tapping back? Deleted a paragraph by accident? Got a new phone and all your notes were gone? Jotwell is a simple notepad built so that never happens again.

SAVED AS YOU TYPE
There is no save button to forget. Every word is stored on your phone the moment you stop typing, even if the app closes or your phone restarts.

UNDO ANY EDIT
Each note keeps its last 20 versions. Open Version history, pick the one you want and restore it in one tap. Restoring is saved as a new version too, so you can change your mind again.

A TRASH THAT WAITS 30 DAYS
Deleted notes go to the trash, not into thin air. Tap Undo right away, or restore them from the trash within 30 days.

YOUR NOTES, YOUR FOLDER
Pick a folder once and Jotwell writes a backup file there every week. Each backup has a restore file plus every note as a plain .txt you can open anywhere. New phone? Load the file and your notes are back. No account, no sign-up.

- Opens in reading mode, so the keyboard does not cover your note

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your notes stay on your phone. Jotwell has no account and no server of its own. The app shows ads to stay free, and never inside the writing screen.

Great for shopping lists, to-do lists, Wi-Fi passwords, meeting notes, ideas, journals and anything you need to jot down.
