Ratings and reviews

I have used/been using a number of apps, and YouTube channels to learn Russian on my own. This is the top app for sure, better than Rosetta stone and Duolingo, and I listen to it almost every day since signing up. The lessons are the perfect length and provide just the right amount of explanation for context, grammar, and vocab. My one complaint is the app is not well laid out so you have to dig a bit to get where you need to go. It's a minor annoyance though for such great content.

Overall, likely the best app I've tried for learning Czech. It does get a bit cheesy in its presentation, feeling like an early 90s infomercial often, and the volume varies, though that been everything I've tried. Their layout is slightly clunky but perfectly workable. I wish I had started with the shorter bits they have in Discover More, which is on me. The quizzes are actually challenging, whereas I can BS my way through on Duolingo. It's a good one to simply let run and listen to.

Best Spanish language learning app I've tried. Much more like the experience of language school, with a conventional format, lots of explanation of grammar and different phrasings in different locations, lots cultural info, etc. Very engaging. Mostly listening based, so easy to use while doing chores or driving, etc. Two thumbs up!
