About this app

The Inseego Mobile App provides a simple, intuitive interface for installing and managing one or more Inseego devices.

Installation
The Mobile App helps users to install their Inseego fixed wireless access (FWA) device in the optimal location to maximize broadband speed in their home, business or enterprise. Installation features are not available on Inseego mobile devices as by nature they can be moved around and don’t require installation in a fixed location.

Simply scan the QR code on your device to pair with your phone and get started.

After pairing your smart phone or tablet with your Inseego FWA device, the mobile app automatically collects signal strength data from the device’s cellular connection. As you move the device to different locations and adjust the angle or orientation, the app provides easy-to-understand performance ratings. The app has customized installation flows for end-consumers doing self-installation, or for professional installers.

Device Management
The Mobile App provides access to cloud-based device management features for all Inseego 5G devices, including FWA devices and mobile hotspots like the MiFi X PRO. The device management features of the app allow you to configure and manage all your Inseego devices on your smart phone, from anywhere in the world.

• View real-time signal strength and network statistics
• See daily and monthly data usage
• Control local Wi-Fi settings
• Remotely reboot or factory reset a device

If you don’t have a QR code or just want to manage a device, you can enter the IMEI number in the App to register with the cloud and get started.

Ratings and reviews

since the more recent updates to both the app and the firmware. everything's broke. nothing works. you can't add a device, when you try to manage a device it says you're not connected. for a business modem in a business app. I hate the fact that T-Mobile uses them. I guarantee you most of it has been AI created for the firmware interface and this app and no one bothered to debug it.

Absolutely worthless! There is not a single thing that you can accomplish on this app that you can't do directly on the device. The device tells you to use the app if you want access to additional settings but there are no additional settings available on the app. further, the interface on this app is garbage. half the time the buttons won't register or the app freezes up. Further, the device itself is garbage. I will never purchase another hotspot from this company again. My phone is better.

It worked fine until I registered a cloud account and now it will not connect to the device and keeps crashing repeatedly. I honestly don't remember seeing an Android app crash anytime in the last 5 years and so this is quite an accomplishment. Android's error handling has gotten really good in the last few years and so to have an app crash requires quite a bit of stupidity.
