468 Insider is an app to demonstrate the benefits and customizability of 468 Communications apps, which help organizations engage their communities by rewarding exploration and commerce.
468 Insider apps support shop local programs and tourism wayfinding through incentives for visiting places.
468 Field Trip apps help educators reward students for experiencing the world around them while creating fundraising opportunities for schools.
By deploying its own 468 app, an organization can make its community more engaging for visitors and community members while promoting local businesses. With a 468 app, the more places visited, the more points earned. Points can be redeemed for goods or services.
468 apps are easy to create, manage and dynamically update. Through a user-friendly online control panel, an app can be customized to convey an organization’s brand, including logo, map and content pages throughout.
The app’s EXPLORE button takes visitors to a community’s map, which has pins indicating places of interest. Clicking on each pin on the map gives users more information about that location.
Assigning points to locations creates incentives for users to visit more places. Each location can be assigned a point value, to be collected when users are within GPS range of a location. When users push the app’s COLLECT POINTS button while physically visiting a location, points are added to their Account page.
Points can be redeemed for goods or services at Rewards locations, creating incentives for users to both visit and make purchases while they are there. Hitting the REDEEM REWARDS button while physically at a Rewards location brings up a key pad for place owners to enter a code to deduct points from a user’s account in exchange for a reward offered by that place. Rewards locations create an opportunity for an organization to monetize or sell placement within its 468 app.
The 468 online control panel provides valuable data to organizations about their visitors’ activity, volume and origin. Automatically generated reports show popular destinations, periods of peak activity, and where visitors are from.
