You cannot really use it to control your mouse comfortably for free. You have to pay, otherwise you will be interrupted constantly (like, after every 10 seconds or such?) until you click "no, thanks" or "buy premium". I don't mind paying for apps, but then --- this was not highlighted in the description, and other apps provide remote mouse control for free without such interruptions. On the other hand, using ssh as a server is a cool idea. You don't need anything extra (in particular, no closed-source server, as with many similar apps). And your connection is secure. Kudos for that.
It works well for the most part, I've been really ill so i setup a Ubuntu media centre and have been using this to configure it while im in bed ill. saved me from boredom. sadly i have issues with left click, it seems to drag instead of left clicking 90% of the time.
Name says it all! Currently using this remote to control my ubuntu laptop mainly to navigate kodi. Works perfect. Volume control took a little bit of tweaking to get to work but everything works flawless.
Complex just for a remote
worst app ever...prompting to upgrade add is irritating
