Missing basic features... As other reviews have noted, the app doesn't allow you to search your articles without an upgrade, and I have yet to figure out how to rename and organize my folders. I would consider the upgrade if I had a better understanding of the value I was getting. Would I be able to organize my folders if I upgraded? I don't know.
#Hello App Developers I can't imagine life without this app. Some features like highlighting text & fonts...better than Pocket App. Still this should be fixed : Once the text/line is highlighted, it remain highlighted for always...there is no option change it...& there is no option to move app to SD card...plz fix...
After the last update the app just keeps crashing every time I try to open it! // As a premium user, I use it every single day on my phone, tablet and laptop. I save tons of articles and read them later in a clear and easy-to-read format. Love Instapaper!
Crashes when doing anything right now. Completely unusable. Doesn't function at all, lately. Crashes constantly. Can't even launch app or save an article to it after first install and login. Have tried reinstalling, removing data, clearing cache... After login, app always crashes. Whether open or not. Really love Instapaper, but this needs to be fixed. It's been going on for like, a month now. I'm paying money for a subscription. You're going to lose money if your app is literally unusable by your users.
Great service, buggy app. For at least six months it's had repeated force closes and on the rare occasion it works (after a reinstall) articles come up blank about a third of the time. I recommend Instapaper, but find a 3rd party solution for reading on Android.
[Workaround found] Crashes on launch Update: to fix the crash go to the app settings and enable location. After logging in into my account successfully, the app just crashes on launch (it looks like the crashes happen in background as well). Android version should be taken more seriously: obviously iOS counterpart receives much more care. Doesn't make sense, Android users pays as much as iOS users do. Hope to see state of things to change. I'd like to not be forced to switch to Pocket.
