I have worked on a couple other platforms for my school work. I worked on a different one with my daughter even. To me, there is no comparison between these platforms! Canvas is by far the better app that I've worked with. It's easy to maneuver through....personally. I enjoy the card view on the homepage the best. It makes it so much easier to find what assignments are due in each class, when they are due, and even has links that will send me straight to the assignments from Canvas!

Unusable Scanner feature When using the scanner feature to submit an assignment, if the assignment only supports non-image type files, the scanner will start, but not allow saving the scan in any way; "Save" will put up a rude "file type unsupported" alert, and unceremoniously delete anything scanned. There is no way I've discovered to access the scanner than to submit an assignment. This "feature" dead-end probably costs years of student's time regularly, and is a UX tragedy.
