About this app

You can use the Vy app to quickly find departures for journeys by train, bus, metro, tram and boat across Norway. You can buy tickets from Vy and other transport companies such as Go-Ahead, SJ, Ruter, Kolumbus, Skyss and Brakar. It should always be easy to make the eco-friendly choice when travelling, so the Vy app also lets you:

· See relevant suggested itineraries in the journey planner – including how long it takes to walk or bike
· Get real-time information on all departures
· Receive push notifications about delays and cancellations affecting your journey
· View your tickets and present your ticket for inspection
· Check how full each carriage on your train is
· Save your favourite routes and places that you frequently visit
· Book taxis across much of the country
· Listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and read newspapers and magazines

Not sure if developers are using their own product, they should be forced! What happened with a fast and easy to use nsb like app? Vy is so so slow, and definitely the user experience is not great. 2 stars, and only because it works at the end, but slow, and not helpful design if you are in a rush. Please fix it or force developers to use it on a daily basis as a punishment.

Absolutely terrible, does not give way to create profile, not to mention bus prices. It is same for 180km and 50km or slighty less

Won't allow me to login with my profile even though I can log in on the website with the same credentials.

What's new

The app now boots up faster on Android and has a smoother user experience for those who aren’t logged in. We’ve also improved the search input fields for our visually impaired customers.
