Update killed my whole 4 camera system!!! I want my money back so I can buy a system that works. Blink cameras look good and much easier to use. Please advise how to get refund. Update 2/15/17 You still suck....I want a refund! It may be time for a class action lawsuit against your company
Freezes. App closes. Leave alone. Total rubbish. Shop been robbed twice but the app is hit and miss with recording that police couldnt do anything. Getting new camera system defo wont be swann products. Surely with all these problems if we wrote to trading standards we should all be refunded for faulty software
The cameras are great... But the app sucks. It keeps locking up. I have had to uninstall and reinstall twice now and have only had the cameras a month. I have to use it though because its all I have. Local PD also says it sucks, and not good for home security. 3/1/17 - is there another app that works with these cameras? I am still having major issues even after a year of complaining and sending in reports. The app keeps shutting down almost immediately after opening, then I have to uninstall and reinstall to get the same thing. I think you people are completely ignoring your customers and your product reports.
Seriously when are you going to sort this out? If you are trying get people to migrate to another service you are absolutely going the right way about it. The current version of the app fundamentally does not work. If you cannot view the camera remotely (which keeps saying it's offline) and keep having logout login problems with the app it won't be that long before you have no customers at all. If you are suggesting you only want to have paid subscription customers just say this outright.
Latest issue: After latest update, one of my cameras shows as being offline. It captures 15 second block of video when motion sensor is triggered but not always, and cannot view live. I see this issue has been reported already but I don't see a response from Swann. Previous issue#1: Cannot log in after update. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still does not work. I get a 504 Gateway Timeout error.
Oh great!! From bad to worse!! Well done Swann for NOT fixing the issues from THE previous update but creating more. Now it says all 3 of my cameras are offline so there's no live view or ability to operate / edit settings yet they still record events, how's that possible?? Please respond to this review and not irrelevant information about "PT speeds" thinking that's what I wanted to hear!
