I love this thing! I received my Muse about a month ago and have been using it every day. It's absolutely a game changer. I don't seem to have any connection issues that are reported in other posts on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running Android 6.01. I've never used the iOS version though I prefer to listen to the same sounds each time I meditate. I highly recommend Muse. I read somewhere to keep it charged near 100% every time you use it and so far that seems to be working very well for me.
Super buggy on Android Like the headband and meditation sessions, but the app seems buggy as hell. The background video flickers constantly, it's crashed a couple of times and somehow it manages to trash my WiFi connection every time I load the app. No other apps do this on my phone. Luckily I have an ios device too which I'll use from now on.
Great app from the Muse company. Please also focus on android The product is wonderful. But why only one app? Also, I am hearing you are giving lower priority to android. Is that true? If that's the case I will return the headband. I don't see enough choices in the app. I can't select. I have to go by whatever handed out to me.
Disappointing Android app Absolutely love the idea behind the muse headband. Really makes me want to keep practicing and improve at slowing down the insanity in my head. However, the stark contrast between the functionality of the Android and iOS app is jaw dropping. I have been using the headband for the best part of a year now, waiting for the android app to come up to speed, but alas, the wait goes on. Please, please, please address this
$200 for nothing Most frustrating thing. No variety in environments. Bluetooth barely works and the feedback jumps from calm to hurricane Katrina just like that. I've tried it on iPhone and it's great. Why the heck can't it be like that for Android. I've had this for more than 5 months and it's been the same thing. Not a single update or improvement has done anything. Probably not that hard to add new environments, just saying. It gets a bit boring after you've heard the same thing over and over.
App is way behind IOS App Thia is not a hardware review. The headband is a great meditation tool. This review is about the terrible app for Android. I installed the IOS app on my sons iPOD and was blown away with how many other options were available in app. Android app is an after thought. The hardware is awesome, but Android app is brutal. If you live in a dual OS house like me, use the IOS app. Have not tested the calm difference between both apps, but will be testing over next two weeks. App works OK but limited.
This quick update will make sure you don't experience bugs, crashes or any other issues using Muse with Android's newest operating system.
