Really, I love this product. Thank you all who have put countless hours in to developing this all. One thing I have noticed, is the apps from iOS and android differ. I use Android and for some reason I cannot view a zoomed image of the graph after the meditation. Is there a different way to do this or is it just this app for Android? Again, thank you all!
The app delivers exactly what it promises, which is incredible. However, I think that the app can be significantly improved for a fraction of what it took to develop the hardware and signal processing. I want to be able to tag my sessions for different variables, such as whether I am reclining, standing or sitting upright, and so on. I think this would go very well with your desire to aggregate user data for further calibration. Within a session, I'd like to be able to tag time intervals for when events happen, such as the phone ringing or an itch is scratched. The timer counts down from 3 minutes, but the post-session graph starts from 0 seconds, making it difficult to trace ones steps in the meditation. I'd like to be able to flip the x axis of that graph so that it matches the countdown. In general users could have more control over how their training data is recorded and represented, within the framework of good data aggregation of course. Finally, although you may have already ruled this out due to privacy concerns and not wanting to come off as snake oily, I was surprised that I could not submit any cognitive conditions like autism or ADHD (I have the former). Thank you for making this app, it's been a game changer for my meditation practice. Good day!
I've been meditating for a while now without Muse and I'm hoping to gain some new insights into how to better my practice. So far nothing stands out. I have high hopes and high expectations (considering all the positive reviews). I've been using the device and app for a week now and haven't experienced anything extraordinary. Hoping to soon once sessions go a bit longer.
it's a shame that I have to be fighting to connect this thing. it connects one on 3,sometimes it does not connect at all I turn on /off MUSE, I turn on/off Bluetooth, I turn on all again, terrible!! I wast more time trying to connect than using it, it's absurd. it's supposed to help relax, but the only thing that end up doing is get me angry. I really don't recommend this app or this product.
Audio cuts off. Each phrase ends a second or two before it should, eg. "Open your eyes and check the screen to contin".
I have use this app since 3.5 years, on Android and iOS, they have improved a lot of usability and connectivity (it is not dead (that's my point)) my personal goal was to develop my creativity, hence apparently meditation helps, I am not somebody sitting in a corner and doing it by himself, the app with the device made it worth it, few minutes of meditations (a day) and I sort notice change in my behavior and reactions in life/work (could it be attributed to Muse? I think so if I don't do it, I somewhat am able to notice a difference), I offered it to my father, it looks like he is more interested by the gamification though, eh, I sort of started doing meditation with my 10 years old daughter, it helps her to stay focus (or I convinced myself it did, I think it was a good means/excuse/pretext though), overall I really recommend it.
