We are a family-owned business that builds personal relationships with our customers and our vendors. The Suiter father-and-sons team of Bill Sr., Bill, Jr., and Dave manage all of the day-to-day operations and enjoy meeting and serving customers in all of our 7 locations. By insisting on quality ingredients and friendly customer service, we’ve secured our spot as one of Springfield’s most popular pizza places since 1992.
Antonio’s offers carry-out and delivery throughout most of the Springfield and Chatham areas. All locations open at 4 pm, and our Wabash Avenue location serves lunch all day!

Our goal was to be a little different than the average pizza/restaurant and focus on the quality of our ingredients, such as in making our pizza with a high grade flour, Primo California tomato sauce, and to top each pie with Wisconsin Cheddar.
After trying almost every establishment in a 30 mile radius we came up with our own unique and award winning wing sauces.
We also use top quality rib eye steak, chicken tenders, (not fingers) and take pride in the fact that many of our menu items are made fresh on site. Some of these items include, lasagna, soups, Italian chicken Breast, boneless chicken bites (which are a 3 step process), our pesto and vodka sauces, and our seasoned burgers and taco meat.
Our super salads are fresh not bagged, and our buns are brought in fresh from NY daily. We strive to bring a service to our local community that is second to none, and our loyal customers have responded. So stop in and let us give your taste buds...the Pizzabella experience.

We built our business on this:
"A QUALITY PIZZA, SOLD AT A FAIR PRICE WOULD CREATE ITS OWN PLACE IN THE MARKET."
In the beginning we made pizzas on a Formica kitchen counter. All of our equipment, food, and supplies were paid for C.O.D. We wanted to make sure that we stayed ahead on everything. Our advertising was very limited; there was only good Word-of-Mouth advertising. We counted on a great product and friendly, personal service to bring customers back to us.
I worked every minute the store was open and my father (employed at another job during the day) worked every evening and on weekends. We touched every pizza that we sold, talked to our customers, and built a reputation that has lasted through the years.
After the first year, the company was solid. People would travel from the surrounding areas for our pizza. In December 1978, we opened our second store in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.
In June of the following year my wife, Sharon, and I got married and we worked every night. After we had our first child, my wife wanted to stay involved in the business, so she took over all the bookkeeping functions. She has a conservative nature that helped the business continue a controlled growth.
In March of 1982 we opened the Kanawha City store. It was the Turning Point for the company. The volume at this location was about double that of the other locations. The increase in cash allowed for a little faster expansion.
The Spring Hill store opened in March of 1984. After taking 1985 off, we came right back and opened the Teays Valley and Pinch locations in 1986 and in 1987 the West Side (Charleston) and Sissonville locations were opened and we built new buildings for our St. Albans and Cross Lanes stores.
In September of 1986, we began delivery in the Kanawha City location and by mid-October we were delivering out of all of our stores. This was a good move for us, but it is much different business from the dine-in and carry-out business. We weren't used to that.
We studied the market to a great extent to see where we could do better than our competitors.
All of 1988 was spent consolidating our position and improving our operations. We changed our marketing approach and began offering more discounts and specials than before.
In June 1989, we opened a store in Greensboro, North Carolina, although in February of 1990 we closed this location and re-opened it in West Virginia on Bridge Road in South Hills.
It is our continued expansion that offers our manager continual advancement within our company, or as a franchisee. By working hard and maintaining a high profile in the community, we are able to maintain our market share and enjoy watching it increase as we continue to polish our service and quality to the customer's door.

The Lucky Man's early life was relatively easy as he enjoyed the surrounds and his mother’s traditional Italian cooking, which was famous throughout the region. In his teens, the Lucky Man began to assist his father in the family business making leather soccer balls for the major Italian leagues. Unfortunately the business turned bad and had to be sold under a mountain of debt.
Keen to reduce the burden on his parents, The Lucky Man left home the night before his eighteenth birthday with just enough money for a one way flight to Brazil. The Lucky Man performed a host of odd jobs in Brazil, his most profitable being selling frozen fruit on the beach of Copacabana. With some savings behind him The Lucky Man set his sights on Las Vegas where his plan was boom or bust.
At the very first Roulette table he saw the Lucky Man placed $2000 straight up on the number three, at odds of 35 to 1. It duly saluted – next stop Sydney, Australia. On the flight to Australia, the Lucky Man befriended a young Englishman who told the Lucky Man he had ambitions to break into the music industry. Later that same young man would form a band called The Verve and soon after release hit single 'Lucky Man'.
In Sydney, the Lucky Man's life changed for the better when he met his wife Stella and for years happily worked in various restaurants learning the finer points of food preparation, while still finding time to raise 13 children - 7 of natural birth and 6 adopted – one from each other continent. The Lucky Man's favourite food to create and to eat was pizza as he found he could combine the traditional methods his mother had taught him with the various Australian preferences he had picked up along the way.
Looking for the next challenge the Lucky Man packed up his family and moved to Melbourne where he proved himself to be one of the best in Lygon Street, Carlton. The gangland war that engulfed Melbourne wore heavily on the Lucky Man as although he is a strong family man with high principles, he watched as numerous people he knew well came to perish. With his children now all moved on from the family home the Lucky Man was keen for a tree change.
And this is where you meet him today, living happily with Stella and running his Pizza Shop in Mount Clear. Please enjoy all The Lucky Man has to offer and thanks for taking the time to get to know him. Enjoy his story and most of all enjoy the fantastic taste of his gourmet and traditional pizza!
