This app isn't useful. The remote start capability doesn't work (it's a manual transmission), and other than that feature, there's not much there. I'll probably never use the remote lock and unlock. It informs me that the trunk or a door is open, but that's usually because it's open while I'm unloading the car, and the notification arrives long after I've closed the offending trunk or door. The app is OK, but only OK. It's free for now, but when that's over, I sure won't pay to keep it.

The app's only good function is telling me how much gas I have. However, it doesn't really update when I scroll down to refresh it. The remote start and unlock function barely works. I get that it has to send a signal. But I have successfully started my car twice since getting the app. It's not really worth it to have. Thankfully, I am still in the trial period but I will not be buying a subscription for it.

One of the Worst Car Apps – Disappointed in Mazda Very disappointed with the Mazda app. There’s no climate control, so I can’t preheat the car, turn on heated seats, or warm the steering wheel in winter. It’s miserable getting into a freezing car. Even budget brands offer this now. To make it worse, there's no remote start on the key fob either. It feels really cheap and outdated. Mazda should seriously rethink their tech—this is way behind the times.
