Rubbish. Randomly dies. I can't get back in.
"Total indoor capability more than maximum limit or less than minimum limit, or number of indoor unit less than two." That quote is taken directly from one of the pictures listed on this app's selling page on the Google play store. What it reveals is that the programmers basically did error collection, then error regurgitation. Ex: "if (a < b) or (a > b) or (c < 2) then print the_error;" instead of "if (a<b) print a_specific_error_and_propose_a_remedy, etc... Of course, this bad programming runs throughout the app. For example, setting a schedule is non-intuitive, and you can't change the trigger time for a rule. (Bug.) Overall, the app works, but because it's the only way to interact with this expensive piece of hardware, it should be better coded. I don't compare this free app to other free apps, I compare it to apps which cost $200, since that's about what the hardware cost, and the hardware is just an interface for this app.
When I program a time for it to turn on and off with calendar it keeps resetting to the time at the moment I programmed it. So if I'm programming it at 12 to turn on at 1 it keeps resetting the time to 12 not 1.
Very frustrating It quasi works but so does my remote. The calendar setting and scenes are pathetic and not at all intuitive. I'm not sure who sets up schedules like this but surely they could use some design help. Not to mention have it actually work. I can't even get the time to stay to what I set it.
Painful What app forgets the username when you don't have an internet connection. Also on schedules it only shows one color bar for the first schedules that day. I can only hope the others do run even though not shown on calendar.
Pretty good Hoping the statistics feature gets implement soon and works well.
- Improved IntesisHome device configuration.
- Minor bug fixes in calendar rules.
