Discover Cascia is the app that allows visitors to discover, in a more immersive and engaging way, through new multilingual digital technologies, the historical, naturalistic, and spiritual landmarks of its vast territory, particularly its sacred sites nestled in pristine nature.
The area, crisscrossed by various trails, mapped here, is characterized by valuable natural and geological sites, significant historical sites, and important ancient communication routes of religious interest. The Way of Saint Rita leads from Cascia to Roccaporena, passing through places associated with the Saint's life. The Benedictine roads of the Corno Valley from Cascia cross the Ocosce plateau to Monteleone, and the Via degli Altopiani, following in the footsteps of the Romans, crosses the Chiavano plateau, skirts the Pizzuto-Alvagnano mountains, and returns to Cascia through the charming Maltignano Valley.
