I understand that many people have their partners being unresponsive and that ruins the experience. I urge people to actively participate. This app has been very interesting for me. Thanks to me and my partner responding daily.
I like the idea of this app. I like taking time out of a busy day to reflect on my answers. I am disappointed that I can't read my partners past answers on Android though.
The design is nice, but also makes navigating complicated. I can't imagine this lasting a year as I've only had one response in three days
I haven't heard a single reply. It's been more than a week now. Don't know if it's a technical glitch or just people not too bothered to reply.
It's an interesting idea. I found it hard to navigate at first, and it really challenged my assumption that media experiences should be fast and immediate :P Here things can be slow, frustrating, unclear. Also the quality of the experience seems to vary hugely, depending on how active your partner is. But I think you have to give it time to grow - don't expect a meaningful experience to just drop into your lap. You need to give as much as you hope to receive. It seems odd that you can't see your partner's response if they reply before you. This means you never have a sense of dialogue (or at least not yet). You can't respond to your partner when you write. This seems to skip out a key way that we build empathy with another person, so I'm waiting to see if the experience can generate the sense of 'connection' that it says it wants to offer.
The navigation is not the clearest. And I still haven't been able to figure out how to answer the questions.
- new experience for users who are waiting for their first pair
- improved pairing transitions and some other animations
- fixed some bugs
