1/24/25 -- Had to redo my original review. App still doesn't work at least half the time, if not more. The online app seems to be more reliable, though the purpose of this is supposed to be a mobile texting app. Have to force stop and restart the app usually multiple times per day. It's painful. Wish there were more options for compliant texting as this is nearly unusable.

This is the worst app I have ever used. Typing more than a sentence will overload the phone's cpu. Best-case scenario, you can type one letter every 2 to 5 seconds. Worst case, it'll crash the app or your whole phone (losing everything you typed). How hard is it to code a texting app?? No matter what you're doing, the back button closes the app instead of taking you back to the previous menu. I constantly have to sign in. Sometimes push notifications don't come through until I open the app.

Have had numerous issues with the app - from not being able to make outbound calls, to not being able to receive inbound calls. At various points issues have been addressed but never fixed. Currently I cannot receive any notifications from the myrepchat app - I use a Galaxy z flip 3 - and the myrepchat app after a recent update to the phones software is now considered a system app and all notifications are being blocked with no way that I have discovered to resolve this issue.
