My only complaint is how long it takes to get the Ipsy Bag after you've been billed for it. The App says the package has "shipped" but then the package tracking number remains in "shipping label created" for almost 2 weeks before the package is actually in transit. But on the positive side, this subscription service is the best deal for the price! Loved the items in each Glam Bag to date.
The app itself is ok, but don't waste your money. They send you 3-4 things (they're tiny) I had ipsy about a year n half ago and they actually sent decent sized products. Now it's just sample size which I guess is okay if you're wanting to try them once n decide if you like it. They downgrading IMO. I got 1 product I really liked & it was what I told them I liked. The others were just things they put in..
Thank you so much Ipsy!!! I get to try amazing products that are tailored to my color, complexion, hair, and preferences. You sent me a $49 eyeliner I've been wanting to try but was hesitant at the price. Now it's my new brand. Every month it's something different and from well known companies. I couldn't be happier. The testing opportunities are great. I love Ipsy.
I LOVE ipsy (and the app!). I look forward to receiving it every month - especially when I got it on my birthday one month, that was a nice little present for myself ;) My only complaint (Though not enough to change my rating) is the spoilers! I always want to be surprised but even after saying no, the next day I open the app and all of my products are there lol. Even if we could hide that from the home page I think it'd make a difference. Finally, it does cost more for Canadians but I usually receive my bag quickly - around the 11-14th of the month!
Close to amazing. I love getting my monthly surprise in the mail and Ipsy exposes me to great brands and products that I would never know about otherwise. I only have two complaints. 1. You can't actually shop products directly through Ipsy. You have to follow a link to the brand's website and search for the specific product you want to buy there. And the links don't always work. 2. Their rewards program is nothing compared with Birchbox. I've gotten tons of free full size products from points earned shopping on Birchbox. I'm not going to cancel Ipsy based on those 2 issues, but it kept me from giving them 5 stars.
The best subscription by far. I never have to buy makeup because I need it, only if it's something I want because I have an abundance of makeup and brushes to use. It's also decent sized products. Much better than birchbox. I had both subscriptions for about a year, and discontinued birchbox due to the sample sizes literally being a one time use sample about 95% of the time.
