I like the system and am expanding it. Just started using Amazon Echo, so looking forward to integrating. I wish the double stick tape was better. All of my devices on the west side of my house have slid off the tape! But I don't want to glue in place. I wish it integrated with SmartCam. I've got an indoor camera I purchased from Costco at a really good price. I am also planning on getting the monitored service. Just got to sign up. Instructions are lacking. But after figuring out the first few devices and working more with related devices it gets easier. I am going to add more home automation too. Wouldn't trade this system.
Frequently lose connection with a couple of my devices and went through three keypads before I finally gave up on them altogether. Overall it gives me a sense of security and an awareness of the status of my home. I enjoy the integration with Alexa-enabled devices and the ease with which new devices are added.
Easy to setup and worked great..... for couple hours. Stopped working, lost connection to the door lock, can't get anything to work on the hub. First thing tomorrow, piece of junk hub is going back to lowes. It is simply unreliable, and you don't won't that when it comes to security.
I have been using iris for about two years. I have used their customer service and have installed over 50 devices. I really enjoy the app, ease of installation/ pairing, and the quality of their customer service. I am pleasantly surprised at the amount of improvements that have happened over two years. I have written recommendations to their design team which have been implemented (what a cool feature). In my opinion this security system is with out a doubt the best bang for your buck. Keep up the enhancements and hard work. You have a life long customer here.
I love the new updates and I hope they continue to improve the functionality and reliability. I do hope a future update increases the sensitivity ans stability of the icons in the favorites in the app. It is frustrating at times to activate a favorite.
App works well. The latest updates have certainly fixed bugs & made it more robust. Like how u can make a schedule for any device. As far as the system I have one issue. 1 door sensor is on opposite side of house & guess on edge or hub range so it periodically disconnects & reconnects. Wish they still had some type of range extender. Arming the alarm is problematic when it is disconnected
