Clicking on a new article from outside the app takes you back to the last article you visited in the app. It's very frustrating. In order to actually get to the article you want to read, you have to go back to the homepage in the app, then exit the app, go back to the external link and click on it. Cookie management needs a massive overhaul - subscribers shouldn't have to reauthenticate their subscription status multiple times a week.

Thankfully with the last update it seems that they have fixed the issue with the app not going back to the same place after coming out of an article, that was so annoying, so this is a welcome update. Overall, the app does what it is supposed to. My main gripe would be the ads, especially for a service that you are paying for. Anyhoo, install a DNS server on your phone and it fixes that issue.

The newspaper is great. the app however is very substandard. Paying a substantial enough subscription you would expect the app to be more polished. I will probably have to cancel my subscription at the end of my contractual period. The app on an awful lot of occasions tells me I have no connection to Internet. when I have pretty flawless Internet on all other applications on Fibre broadband. Often I select to read an article it takes me to the previous article i read and won't load one selected.
