It's fine This App works well (for me) and I don't really care much about the UI. I just want to know the schedules. However, I've encountered a minor problem. The app doesn't register my favourites... Other than that, it's fine.
It's okay. Okay if you need schedules. Trip planner sucks. Instead of telling me to go down the street to the closest metro, it wanted me to walk several blocks to the next station. For the latest scheduled times at your favourite bus stops, using STM's text message service is faster.
Finally getting it right The first version was terrible with a horrible interface, lag and crashes. But they have moved over from just being an iOS port to a fairly functional tool. Find your stop easily and plan your routes. I use the bus/metro a lot so it comes in very useful. They should merge Bixi into it though for full transit. The main issue is that all this is done better in Google Maps (and Google Now) so I don't use it that often anymore.
Lacks basic features I don't mind the bad UI, but the lack of offline bus hours, the frequent hours download which take forever to complete, the fact that, when you turn off your screen and come back in the app you have to reload the hours, etc are big turn offs. I still use the app every day as Google Maps hours are not always accurate. The main thing I like about it: the possibility to save bus stops and order them in folders, it is a very good feature. Please STM, fix the other issues...
The "Favorites" feature does not seem to work. I can add a folder to the Favorites screen but that doesn't seem to do anything. I can put an address in the trip planner and touch the star icon there, which I would think would cause the address to go into the Favorites. But I just get an all-white screen.
Very bad I waited 1 hour for your "accurate" time Don't believe the times the Slowest Transport of Montreal's. They're not worth it. They should at least tell us why 6 "En Transit Bus" pass by for goodness sake.
