Quite useful! This app is one of the best in its category. It doesn't even use that much of the battery. One flaw: you can't disable the notification icon on Android 5.0 or 5.1. (At least, it doesn't work.) Suggestion: Add a timer preventing the phone to lock for 15/30/60 second after unlock (I would love to have that feature!) But even in its current situation, it's a great app. Keep going! EDIT: You can disable the app notification in the Android settings.
Some weird problems... This service kills sometimes all timers (system bombing via onLowMemory errors). As a result it can also overcharge the battery! Actually I love this app, but it must be fixed. Edited: FIXED! Thanks.
Works as advertised Used it for a day and so far it hasn't missed a beat. I was worried about battery drain, but I haven't noticed at all! Very configurable, but I have left on defaults mostly. I have a galaxy s4 with the official flip cover
Good Best auto screen off I've found except the disable in landscape mode does not work well. If I cover the sensor as I'm moving the phone into landscape it still sits off my screen even though I'm already in landscape. Also had trouble with it not coming back on.
No longer updated This used to be my favorite screen on/off app but it has not been updated in many years. Because of this, there are issues on newer versions of Android such as marshmallow.
Pretty good except for a few things. On my nexus 7 the timer doesn't work so whenever I always have to turn the system off at night which can be a pain. It also doesn't seem to pick up my hand gestures but I'm thinking it might be operator error. Other than that its a great app.
• New feature: you can have a combination of (flip cover mode + screen on gesture mode)
• Fixed vibration issue of some devices (used to vibrate every time screen turns off)
• Other minor bugs
• Fixed bugs related to gestures
• Disabled Vibrate on service start.
• Default timeout after screenOn will be system display timeout. can be overridden by "Avoid screen Flickering"
