Nice Idea, easy to use once set up. I really like the Idea and the execution. Setting up the url once as a bookmark and then its easy to use. and you can even use it on "guest computers" if you set up the url. Just today though the appspot site seems to not work. I can't see the QR Code and the urls dont pop up. The app on my phone says though that there are 3 links waiting. please fix it. thanks <3
Confirmed - Oh this is Great. Totally Works, Super Light-weight, and Easy to setup. One Thing... You'll need the "Barcode Scanner" App. Which is also Light. And you can Ditch It after setup. Now my Three "Home Tabs" just grew to Four. Just "Share" the page with the "Send to Computer" option, and it'll hit your Bookmarked Page instantly. Oh, and definitely Disable ABP on that website.
Works great! I just downloaded it, AS DIRECTED, and set it up on my computer, AS INSTRUCTED, and performed a couple of sends to make sure all was fine. The important thing is to follow everything as directed, especially concerning your popup blocker. Either turn it off or list Send to Computer as an exception. I sent a few more pages to my computer, just to make sure, and it works great! Good job Ivan.
Works great, need http action extention This is a great app. I use it all the time when I'm using computers that I don't want to sign in on using my google account info. The only flaw with the app is I really, REALLY, wish it would also have the http mime type so that if I click on http:// urls in apps like texts or chat programs, send to computer would be an option to select among my web browsers. That way I can send it straight to the computer without having to first open it in chrome or firefox and then 'share' it, which half the time then I'm sharing the mobile version of the site instead of the normal version. Please add http mime type. With that this would be 5 stars.
Very hit and miss. Very slow and often does not send link. Only sent 3 out of 10 I sent. Also have to relink often as stops working all together. I just use Pocket which is instant and reliable, plus saves link so don't have to have browser open.
Good app that fills a real need and does not reinvent the wheel. I use it to send URLs to my computer, and I use "Pasta: PC copy, mobile paste" to do the opposite: send text from my computer to my phone. Both apps make my life much easier.
I'm changing my android device, so this version adds ability to backup 'associated browser id' using Google cloud backup. When I restore all my apps on my new device the 'send to computer' will just work. (Available for Froyo/2.2 and newer devices only)
