The installation tells the story of a whale (old wooden figurine).
It (installation) represents locked "digital reality" beyond our visible space that unlocked and lived as part of our visual environment. In her mark set four layers formed in scenes illustrating key moments in the life of the wooden whale. Four main stages and layers embodied:
1. Creation of this creature
2. Absolutism of this creature of this form in space
3. His personal drama as an existing object in our modern life
4. Degradation of the creation, decomposition of its form to the visual form that look on box at this time.
"The key," through which unlocks the digital installation is this wooden whale, resembling old toy, and his box. Image and shape locked history of this story at this existence. Using the technology for digital communication (tablet phone, computer) we as viewers can unlock this window and peek.
For my project "The Story of a whale" I used a computer, on which I created all digital and software content for the installation.
Through the different 3d programs and my computer, I compiled and build a software application that I use on - later on tablet and smart phone devices to visualize the installation.
As physical parameters, the base over which I built this installation and used to trigger itself is 3d shaped wooden whale and its box, their physical parameters and colors.
