I've been with iZettle for a few years now and generally its quite good but recent updates have made the app unstable which can be annoying when your customer is standing there tapping away waiting to pay. I really dislike the addition of selecting card or cash during checkout... what was wrong with assuming card and having a cash button to change that? And why the refusal to enable landscape mode???
It's a shame his was ok until the update and now no longer works. Customer service is useless and they take far to long to reply or get back to you with a useless answer. I would not use izettle again due to the experience I had and have found a much better service elsewhere ' where I do not need a plug in machine that will let me down'.
I can't take payments! The card reader connects and the indicator light flashes to say it's ready but the app isn't recognising it. Can't take any payments at all and then the app keeps freezing. Ridiculous.
Previous issues have been resolved and the app now works a lot better with the card reader. No problems taking payments and my clients are very impressed with the tiny reader, despite it being one of the older models.
Lovely and fast card payments. Love that card or cash is now an automatic option, as cash payments were a bit clunky previously. Not given 5* because there's no landscape mode (it opens automatically in portrait, and doesn't change even when held in landscape).
Don't like the fact you now have to choose whether it's a cash or card payment. It was fine before!
